The success of the Kickstarter showed us that the world is ready for this kind of game, and we set our minds to creating the best possible game we could. After showing at that demo night and receiving even more great feedback, we decided to run a Kickstarter campaign in the spring. Ultimate Chicken Horse is a multplayer platform video game developed and published by Canadian game studio Clever Endeavour Games. We decided that this was something worth pursuing, and started improving the game in anticipation of a local demo night attended by ~500 people. The following week, we showed it off at a local game developer meetup here in Montreal, Canada, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The fun of Ultimate Chicken Horse may be limited without others to play with, and its simple art design left a lot to be desired, but at 14.99, these. The company wanted to put ourselves in a stressful situation and see if we could produce something of decent quality within a short time frame. Any better idea how to incorporate FRV into the workflow.Could it be a mix of Raw and Jpg (exported) images? Multi-image view and comparison- I understood I can compare 2 or 4 images.Vise versa to 4) - does any change in Color Labels on PL carried on to FRV? (reflected immediately in FRV).Are Color Labels on FRV carried on to PL? (reflected immediately in PL).Vise versa to 2) - does any change in star ratings on PL carried on to FRV? (reflected immediately in FRV).Are star ratings on FRV carried on to PL? (reflected immediately in PL). Can I directly from FRV, open the image in PL to be edited ? (Like “Edit in”).So in the next time I use FRV, I can identify those Raw images that are already were edited in PL. Editing an image and rating it with color label.Opening the images in PL, directly from FRV (if possible).Rejecting and deleting bad images- I understood that the “deleted” items are actually saved in sub folder named: Rejected.I intend to have both FRV and PL always opened and active together. I would like to describe how do I intend to incorporate this tool in my workflow, hope that some of you experienced with this software could give some answers or even some useful tips for using more features of this software. It is better to make more passes through the images, each time refining your decisions, rather than try to decide on your best images right away.Happened to read a post from about incorporating FastRawWiewer (FRV) in the workflow for Culling, Rating and Multi-image view & comparison, priced at about 25$ The more technical or artistic characteristics you analyze at once, the slower your decision-making process will be. Try not to put too much pressure on each decision. Culling is a personal process and varies based on your personality. Other photographers are less systematic and that’s ok, too. With each pass, I narrow down the images. Then I look at my two-star images and give an extra star to the best. I can compare like-images and decide which ones are better than the others. I look at my one-star images and decide which deserves another star. You may be able to look at a photo and quickly decide if it is a one-star or a five-star image. Only three-star images get the full post-processing treatment. One is good, two is better, and three is best. Lightroom lets me use as many as five stars, but I only need three. Generally, more stars equate to a better photo. There are a lot of ways to use a rating system. It also means taking advantage of programs that help you make quick photographic decisions.Īn effective culling workflow helps you get from shutter clicks to the photographic treasures that you love. This includes developing an efficient process of rating and ranking images. This guide explores ways of speeding up your culling workflow. Never again will you waste time post-processing an image only to find better light or composition on the next shot. The sorting process always seems to take a lot of time and attention.īut there are ways of speeding up the sorting process that can save you a lot of time later. What treasures might they find? Other photographers dread culling. Some photographers go into this part of their workflow with a sense of excitement. At the very least, you need to be able to find your best and mark images that are not worth keeping.Ĭulling is the process of sorting through your images. But as you take more photos, maybe even hundreds at a time, you need a system to help you organize your images. When you wanted to share your images with family or friends, you could quickly find your best. When you first started photography, you could probably keep track of your images. How do we quickly find the photographic gems? It takes time to sort through dozens, or even hundreds, of photos on our cameras. But not all of us like what happens next. With our digital cameras, we can click the shutter as many times as we want. As photographers, we love to go out and capture the world. Killer Instinct provides great value for money. All 3 shots came in at over 400 feet per second! 403, 401, and 404 feet per second to be precise. Shooting the Lethal 405 with the HYPR bolts over a chronograph delivered some nice results. I recommend not to shoot at the same spot over and over, you will definitely “Robin Hood” a lot of arrows! Getting 1-inch groups with this crossbow isn’t hard to achieve. After sighting in the scope, shooting targets dead-center at 50-yards was very easy. I decided to just use the 3 HYPR arrows that were included with this package. So, now there’s only a speed and accuracy test left. People with shoulder, back or neck problems should take a look at the “Dead Silent Crank” that Killer Instinct offers for this crossbow. For an experienced crossbow shooter this should be an easy task, but can be something to get used to as a beginner crossbow hunter. I just prefer to use an illuminated scope on crossbows.Ĭocking the Lethal 405 with the provided rope cocker should reduce the draw weight to about 100 pounds. The accuracy of the non-illuminated scope is exactly the same as the non-illuminated scope. After sighting it in at 20-yards, the other aiming points should also be sighted in. It’s pretty easy to sight in the scopes from Killer Instinct. They’re completely the same besides the illumination. For a crossbow with a price this low, it’s a very smooth trigger with very little creep.Īs mentioned in the scope section, I did swap out the 4×32 non-illuminated scope for a 4×32 illuminated scope. It has built-in safety features like an anti-dry fire and an automatic engaging safety switch. This crossbow comes with a standard trigger that has a 3.5-pound pull. They’re 20 inches in length and weigh a total of 370-grains with 100-grain field-tips. Included with this package are a total of 3 carbon HYPR arrows with field-tips. If the name didn’t already give it away, the Lethal 405 can shoot arrows at 405 feet per second with the included 20-inch HYPR Lite arrows. So, I do expect it to be a silent shooter. Performanceīefore actually putting the Killer Instinct Lethal 405 through a thorough test, I’d like to note that even though this is a very cheap crossbow, Killer Instinct does advertise that this crossbow comes with a “dead silent” kit. This will not only reduce the draw weight to make it almost effortless, but it’s also dead silent as Killer Instinct claims. Optionally, you can also separately buy the “ Dead Silent Crank”. This greatly reduces the vibrations and noise that the limbs produce when “relaxing” after firing the crossbow. The limb dampeners are rubber shock absorbers that are mounted in between the split limbs. The string dampeners are installed to catch the string and therefore reduce the noise that the string produces. Killer Instinct calls this kit their “Dead Silent kit.” Killer Instinct includes string and limb dampeners to reduce the noise and vibrations that are being produced when shooting with the Killer Instinct Lethal 405 crossbow. Besides that, the scopes are basically the same. One big difference is the illumination and another difference is a lack of lens covers on the scope that was originally mounted on the Lethal 405. Even after including the costs for a new scope, you’ll still have a very cheap crossbow and even more complete!Īs we still had the Furious Pro 9.5 laying around from a review we did earlier, I decided to install the scope from the Furious Pro 9.5 onto the Lethal 405. As the Lethal 405 is a very cheap crossbow, you can’t really complain about the scope, but it’s definitely worth it to upgrade it in the future. Vocabulary plays an important role in oral language development and early literacy (Hill, 2012). The explicit teaching of vocabulary allows students to access academic language and discourse, and facilitates their comprehension of increasingly complex texts. It is crucial that children have explicit and robust instruction in vocabulary, to support their verbal and written communication. Such knowledge influences the complexities and nuances of children’s thinking, how they communicate in the oral and written languages, and how well they will understand printed texts. Knowledge of vocabulary meanings affects children’s abilities to understand and use words appropriately during the language acts of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Sinatra, Zygouris-Coe, and Dasinger (2011) note that: Learning vocabulary is a continual process of language and literacy development, which begins in the early years of life, and continues through schooling and beyond. This includes helping with decoding (phonemic awareness and phonics), comprehension, and also fluency. It's a powerhouse, no question about it, but one that really needs a system built around it to make it shine-you'll need a beefy PSU to get that absolute best from it, and a serious cooler wouldn't hurt either. If you're building a high-end PC not just for high-end 4K gaming, but for more serious pursuits like 3D rendering and video editing, then this is the chip for you. The reasoning here is that the vast majority of gamers should get the Core i5, leaving this spot covering those that need even more performance. That the Core i5 12600K takes the top spot is hard to argue with-awesome performance at a good price will do that-but Intel's top chip hitting the third spot may be a little more surprising. Potentially high platform costs at launch Read our full Intel Core i5 12400 review (opens in new tab). The Core i5 12400 was already impressive without its secret ability, and with cooler included at this price tag, it's one helluva great deal. If you're not looking to overclock in the slightest, however, don't fret. The company also could close the door on the non-K-series overclocking at some point, so keep that in mind if that's the sole reason you're thinking of purchasing this chip. Similarly, Intel doesn't recommend anyone does this-though that's true of pretty much any overclocking nowadays. It didn't run too hot or too power hungry to do it, either, though you will need to be considerate of cooling potential before attempting this. With a motherboard capable of taking advantage of the Core i5 12400's overclocking ability, we managed to push this little chip that could to 5.2GHz rather happily. The lack of a 'K' at the end of the Core i5 12400's name should denote its lack of overclocking prowess, but somewhere in the silicon it has the ability for BCLK overclocking. The Core i5 12400 is nearing on legendary status in the Alder Lake lineup, and that's because of its unprecedented ability to overclock where it shouldn't. Read our full Intel Core i5 12600K review (opens in new tab). Throw in future-looking support for PCIe 5.0 and we have a new gaming CPU king. That means the initial outlay may be a bit more than you planned, but the performance is worth it, and it isn't a power-draining beast either, so you won't need an outlandish cooler to get the most from it. Not bad for a $320 mid-range chip.Īs this is a new platform, you will need to pick up a new motherboard and probably new memory while you're at it-Alder Lake supports DDR5 as well as DDR4. That it soundly beats the Core i9 11900K is just the icing on the cake. It not only beats the similarly priced 5600X in pretty much every game, but it outperforms the $750 Ryzen 9 7950X in plenty of tests too. The Core i5 12600K is the standout processor for gamers because it not only offers great gaming performance across the board, but it does so at a price point that isn't going to reduce you to tears. It's a gamble that has unquestionably paid off though, and the gaming performance offered by Intel's latest CPUs is nothing short of incredible. Its underlying hybrid design was seen as a gamble when it was first announced, with its combo of performance and efficient cores not obviously bringing much to the desktop experience. Intel's 12th Gen Alder Lake processors are a vital return to form for Intel. However, console players need to remember that the game is going to be released only on current-gen consoles: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S - the game will not be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Need for Speed Unbound also has crossplay across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Yes, just like all its predecessors, you can play Need for Speed Unbound with friends and other players through various online races as well as a multiplayer campaign mode, which will be separated from the single-player campaign. But as a racing games fan that likes to compete among friends, maybe you have other doubts in mind: will Need for Speed Unbound be released with multiplayer and crossplay capabilities? Does Need for Speed Unbound Have Multiplayer? Delivering a very stylish, graffiti-like visual while combining stylized characters and effects with photorealistic cars, gamers hope that Criterion will be able to go back to the series’ roots with this title. “The Lost City” opens this weekend and fingers crossed it won’t have the same reception as “Speed 2,” so Bullock can finally land her dream franchise. The recently announced Need for Speed Unbound took the gaming sphere by storm. Bullock landed a Best Actress Oscar for the sports drama “ The Blind Side” and continues to make high-profile studio projects. Temuera Morrison (“ Aquaman“) would end up playing both Django Fett and Boba Fett in the “ Star Wars” universe. Willem Dafoe ended up landing big projects like “ Spider-Man,” playing Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, and has otherwise led a varied career of quirky/serious acting roles. Thankfully, most of the “Speed 2” cast went on to bigger and better things. “Every one of mine has been an absolute stinker.” Turning to Radcliffe, she praised her co-star’s work on the “Harry Potter” franchise, saying “You have nothing but success with sequels. When it was suggested “The Lost City” could spawn a new franchise and sequel, Bullock was cautious. “That’s one I wished I hadn’t done and no fans came around, that I know of, except for you,” Bullock said. However, its sequel “ Speed 2: Cruise Control” is not only a cautionary tale of what not to do with a follow-up to a hit studio blockbuster – replacing their main lead with some other guy ( Jason Patric) – but is also considered one of the worst films of the 1990s. “ Speed” is hardly a masterpiece or even the best action film of the 1990s, but it did help cement Keanu Reeves as an action star (alongside Kathryn Bigelow‘s “ Point Break“) and was one of the movies that introduced audiences to future Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock. That’s something we wish we could see every day! And when you got boobs like Carla’s that look as good in a bra as they do outside of it, you might as well flaunt it, much like she did in Girl Walks Into a Bar (2011) and Hotel Noir (2012).Ĭarla's continued to ravage the screen with her sexuality like she did in Gerald's Game (2018) where she spends the entire movie handcuffed to a bed in her lingerie. The comedy flicks Elektra Luxx (2010) and Every Day (2010) both brought the laughs, along with an ample serving of her seat meat. MILFs everywhere should follow Carla's lead, especially when it comes to flashing her cleavage like she did in Snake Eyes (1998), Rise: Blood Hunter (2007), Righteous Kill (2008), and Watchman (2009), where she gave comic book nerds an instant boner by portraying Silk Spectre and squeezing into her form-flattering crime fighting suit. Like most thirtysomething actresses, Carla has moved on to mom roles, most notably in the Spy Kids series, but that hasn't stopped her from dropping her top, as she did to jaw-dropping effect in arty black-and-white in Sin City (2005). In the crime thriller Judas Kiss (1998), Carla’s left boobie popped out during a steamy sexy scene. Her harrowing depiction of an attack victim is redeemed by the ample nudity. But her breast performance has to be in Jaded (1996). That led to appearances on the TV drama Chicago Hope and the sitcom Spin City, as well as roles in Snake Eyes (1998) and The Singing Detective (2002), in which she played another prostitute. Carla played the typical teenage roles and got a taste of stardom opposite Pauly Shore in Son in Law (1993). She moved to TV, landing a supporting role on the hit nighttime soap opera Falcon Crest. What she lacks in height she more than makes up for in width-around her bountiful bosom. Carla started modeling at fifteen but was deemed too small at five-feet-five-inches. Director Wayne Wang chose not to give Carla Gugino the lead as a prostitute in his kinky The Center of the World (2001) because he "was worried that she would eat the movie up with sexuality." Of course he cast the voluptuous beauty as another hooker. Most of Indiana is in the Eastern Time zone (UTC − 5 h) only some counties in its western corners adhere to Central Time (UTC − 6 h).
